I have never met an avocado I didn't love. They are so rich, smooth, and full of flavor. We always had them readily available when I was growing up. Coming from a Hispanic culture I was used to having Guacamole with Chips & Salsa. This delicious fruit also packs a nutrient punch, by contributing nearly 20 vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients to one's diet. I just think they taste great in salads, wraps, soups, or by itself.

ReplyDeletehave a great weekend.
Avacado is one of my very favorite foods! I was hoping to find a recipe to go with the first picture!
ReplyDeleteWe have wonderful avocados near our farms in Mexico. Can never get enough of them. I love avocados mashed up in a glass of cold shrimp and pico de gallo. Or thin slices over a dish of ceviche. Yummmm!! I think I just decided what I want to prepare this weekend.
