I'm joining several awesome blog parties to talk about "Gifting it Forward". The blogs below are put together by incredible women of character, talent, and heart. They give of themselves so we all can have a fun and safe place to share. I too want to do something special for others so I came up with the Gifting it Forward magazine project.

This past Saturday I went to Half Price Book Store and found a tons of used magazines for 25 cent each. I love magazines and thought that I should spread the fun by gifting forward my bargain find. I decided to make magazine gift packages to take to the local hospital for their patients and visitors. It is inexpensive and heart warming.
.
I start by putting 5 magazines per stack. I then get some hot pink satin ribbon to tie around the magazines. I'm adding a flower to dazzle it up. I've also embellished the flower by gluing on white pearl bead for a finished touch.
.
That was fun and easy to make. It was a blessing for me to find the magazines in the first place, especially at such an inexpensive price. The Gifting it Forward movement is about looking at what we have and allowing God to work through us to bless another person. I strongly believe that sometimes God puts things in front of us so we can be the messenger of his love and grace. Next time I'm going to incorporate magazines for men and children as well because hospitals have all types of patients and visitors.
.I wish you a great week!
