Friday ~ With a Twist of Lime

Friday is about spending time with friends and having fun. Look at all of these exciting blog parties going on. I'm thrilled to attend and I hope you join in too.

Join More Blog Parties going on today!

Here is an apron I just finished that I call "A Twist of Lime". The lime green jumbo rick rack reminds me of lime sherbet and apple jolly ranchers. It is part of my Fiesta Apron collection. The best part of this apron is that you can have a party and not worry about making a mess. The apron is fully washable and the applique is securely placed. The colors are so bright and gorgeous that it made me think about Pistachio Pudding Salad, so I'm including a simple recipe below.

Time to get in the kitchen for a quick recipe. Don't forget to put your apron on!

.
Pistachio Pudding Salad
1 box pistachio pudding
1 can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 can miniature marshmallows
8 oz. Cool Whip
1/2 cup of pecans
1/2 cup of shredded coconut (optional)
Directions:
Combine pistachio pudding and pineapple. Add marshmallows, Cool Whip and nut meats. Stir all together. Tastes best if made the day before and keep refrigerated.
.
Hope you have a Fabulous Friday!
Yoli :)

  1. Pistachio Pudding Salad! Ahhh... that is a real heritage recipe. It was so popular when it came out it was at ALL the potluck suppers, church covered dish events and home parties. So refreshing! I'm glad to see it here. May have to make it this weekend for old times sake. It's such a winner!
    Thanks for the memories.
    Cute, cute apron.
