Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sliced peaches
1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar
Directions
Mix the peaches and sugar in a small saucepan; cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the peaches are tender and the sauce is slightly thickened, about 8 minutes . Remove from the heat and let cool, then refrigerate until cold before using. For a slightly thicker syrup, remove peaches with slotted spoon. Boil syrup gently, uncovered, for about 3 minutes. Return peaches to syrup.
