Fairy God-Mother of Cooking

Paula Deen is my Fairy God-Mother of Cooking.

I'm running out of ideas of what to cook for dinner.  We have been eating at home a lot more often and it seems like we continue cooking the same meals.  Most of the time we have chicken or fish, with small side dishes.  We don't each much red-meats or pastas.  My teen kids do a lot of cooking on their own and they are very good cooks.  Paula is my inspiration because she started as a single mother of 2 kids, just like me; working hard and loving life.

The Food & Wine magazine also has some good recipes that I want to try.  For example, we eat a lot of asparagus but only know a couple of ways to cook them.  I found awesome suggestions for cooking asparagus.  We are in the Lent season, so I'm going to look-up the Fish Dishes for Passover.  It all looks so delicious.  I better get cooking!!  I have all weekend to practice.
