Happy Mother's Day

The perfection of all motherhood is Mary, the Mother of Jesus.

25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,[a] here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.    John 19:25-27 (New International Version, ©2011)

I hope today you take Mother Mary into your home, your heart.  Let us learn from her to love without expectations, and care without judgement.  She is to be respected and acknowledge for the greatest gift of bearing God's son.  As she trusted God when Jesus was sent to the cross, I too trust as my son gets reading to leave for college.  I pray for Mother Mary's strength and wisdom.

  2. Mary was a chosen woman -- and in the choosing came the pain and joy of being the mother of Jesus. Mary kept the events of Jesus' birth in her heart -- just like we do.

I trust you day will joyful.
