Christmas Lights in New Braunfels

Friday night the kids and went to the lighting of the tree at the Town Square in New Braunfels (central Texas).  The ambiance of small-town America is like a glimpse into a Norman Rockwell painting.  There were so many families out with their children, even Santa Claus made an appearance. There New Braunfels Downtown Association had cookies, hot drinks to warm the tummy.   Old Saint Nick was stayed around to visit with the children and take Christmas pictures.  It was adorable to see the children get so excited and happy to see Santa. I had so much fun taking picture of my kids. We all had such a good time.  I'm so thankful to God, so very grateful for the blessings of family, friends, and community.

Weihnachtsmarkt (3 day German Christmas Market) Friday-Saturday 10am-6pm Sunday 11am-5pm. Market to benefit Sophienburg Museum and Archives. Treat yourself to a shopping extravaganza in the Civic Center uniquely decorated for the season in downtown New Braunfels.
