I took a few days off from blogging because my grandmother passes away last week. It was something we were expecting, yet so sad to deal with. She helped raise us grandkids. I remember going to her house in the afternoon when school was out. She would make fresh tortillas and we gobbled them up as fast as they came out. She would also take us to the corner store to buy coloring books and crayons. My grandmother was the sweetest person, hardly ever getting upset, and always having a smile. Her kindness reached through generations. She had been ill for a while, so I am thankful that she is resting in the Lord. I'm sure going to miss her!
Getting back on track. I will be particpating in the Holiday Shopfest this coming weekend in Bulverde, Tx (northwest of San Antonio). There is so much to do to get ready. I'm excited and looking forward to it. There are a few new apron styles I will be taking with me. My daugther Gina will be helping, so it is going to be lots of fun!!

Hi Yoli. I just popped in to say hi and see what's up. I am so sorry about your Grandmother. She is with the lord and she's problably making tortillas up there with her family. Memories is all we have, so treasure your memories with her.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are going to be busy at the Holiday ShopFest. I love your aprons and may decide to order one. I'm going to go look at them. Take care and have a great week.
Hi yoli. I went to your etsy site and ordered an apron but it won't let me pay. It says "the seller doesn't accept "encrypted" sites whatever that means. When I order from Etsy I always use my Visa/debit and it's not letting me do that. I ordered the Virgen apron and it was 29.95 including shipping. If you want me to send a check let me know. I'll try again to "pay" and if it doesn't allow me, let me know what to do.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, Yoli. I'll be thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear about your grandmother. I will be praying for comfort for your family!
