I am up to my eyes in red; red lace, red burlap, red polka dots, red rick rack, red...red..red. I'm sewing my Christmas aprons, senorita stockings, making burlap flowers, and pretty much making a mess of my sewing area. My design inspirations are things I grew-up seeing like spicy Latin flavors. I use western influences because I grew-up watching Gunsmoke. I incorporate basic cottage designs with burlap and flour sacks. People have their own inspiration; mine is more rustic. I'm having fun and that is a good thing for today. I am sorry for your loss. I had a Grandma in my life too, she made homemade tortillas too and just as You I always rushed to her tinny kitchen to get a few tortillas with fresh salsa made in the molcajete.
ReplyDeleteLove love your approns, looking forward to buy one in the future.
Un abrazo.
