Sew Cute Tuesday ~ My 1st Posting

I just found the Creative Itch!! It is the creative creation by Misty. She has awesome stuff and great links from to crafters that are sharing their beautiful talent. You have to go by and visit for a while. Today Misty is hosting "Sew Cute Tuesday". I am posting my Senorita kitchen towel. I made this one a while ago, but tonight I'm going to have to make several more for a town festival this weekend.

This is very easy to make. I start with a standard kitchen towel. I often use my scrap fabrics to make the decorative details. A good friend of mine told me to never throw away scrap materials because I paid for all of it. I always use bonding adhesive by ironing them onto the back of the fabric art. I will then iron it to the towel and also sew it securely in place. You want to be sure that it holds up in the laundry. I love adding ruffles, ribbons, and embellishments. I try to make the kitchen towels beautiful but functional. Hope you enjoy my crafting craze.
