Spiritual Sunday ~ Blessed Day

This Spiritual Sunday is a blessed one for us. I am so thankful to God for his many blessings. My sister Jessica from JOY Marie's Boutique and I had a booth at the Weslaco Onion Fest yesterday, and it was a huge success. My mother is an angel from heaven. I have been a single mother for over 5 years and she has been the one to help me raise the kids. She is always there for us with her wisdom, love, and support.

My kids are back home from Spring Break at Grandma's. The house was so quiet and I missed them. I'm glad to have them back that I headed to the grocery store to make a traditional Spanish meal. I am making sizzling beef fajitas, chips & salsa, cheese sauces, and rice. The meat is slow cooking and I write, and the scent of spices are filling the house in such a festive way that I can't wait to eat. NOTE: We also to go Chili's for their version of the common Tex/Mex food, so take it from a Latin girl; it is just as good.

I pray that God blesses each one of you and takes you through a beautiful journey of hope, love, and faith.

Love & Prayers! ~ Yoli :)

  3. Hey Sis! Onionfest was exhausting but fun fun fun! I was telling my Jaime, I think we enjoy it so much because we really embrace the crowds. I think we both love seeing the babies, grandmas, and doggies. Glad you are home safe! Talk to you soon.

  4. Your mom is so sweet! Yoli your link did not work this week so I'm going to fix it now. I'm sorry I didn't notice it earlier but I just start from 1 and work my way down through out the day.

  5. Hi Yoli. Blogger seems to be messed up this morning so I can't see some of your images, but I can almost smell the food you were cooking. Living in AZ, we eat a lot of Mexican food and we love it.
    Have a blessed week.
