I've started collecting vintage aprons. The apron reminds me of cotton candy. I bought it at the local Antique Store and carefully mended it back to its' original splendo. Like the apron, cotton candy is also vintage. Cotton candy was an expensive treat during Mid-18th Century and in 1897 the first machine-spun cotton candy was invented. During the World's Fair of 1907 the sale of cotton candy was a huge success. Today, cotton candy is still a tasty treat enjoyed by children and adults. I hope you enjoy the pictures of my apron.
