I drove to visit my grandmother in south Texas again this weekend. My drive is about 4 hrs each way, so during that time I am listening to Christian radio. On the drive Friday night I was listening to the program FamilyLife Today with Dennis Rainey. The broadcast was an interview with Leigh Ann & Sean Tuoghy, the couple depicted in the movie The Blind Side. The Tuoghy couple was talking about Loving Others Through Giving, which is identifying daily opportunities to share the love of Christ with other people. Leigh Ann & Sean Tuoghy have a new book that just came out called In a Heartbeat: Sharing the Power of Cheerful Giving. I am looking forward to reading the book.

God Bless You!

You are the second person to tell me about this book! I think I need to go out and get it. LOL! The movie was so wonderful, I'm sure this book will be too. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Yoli, I wanted to let you know your link this week on Spiritual Sundays does not work. So, you might want to repost it. Not sure what is up with that!!!! I have seen the Tuoghy's on TV... I think it was CBN. They are amazingly REAL. They came across like any other of us... trying to live out their faith and make a difference. They were quick to admit their doubts, weaknesses, etc. THat should be a great book to read!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this information, Yoli. It sounds like a wonderful book.

Charlotte
