Yet through it all I knew that God was not giving me more than I could handle. I knew in my heart that God had promised to take care of us during this time, as always. I knew that my sanity and survival was in the Lord's hands. I also knew that I could not run on "empty" for too long. Now the dust is settling a bit and that means that I can allocate more time for my personal health and well-being. I am committing to eating healthier and exercising on a regular basis. My faith is strong!

Yoli - You are on the right path! It's important to reconnect to yourself and the Lord who made you. Too often, I find myself getting caught up in the stuff that really doesn't matter in the long run...I wish for you good blessings, deep breaths and good health. Let God do the steering. :)

Wonderful inspiration, and those grilling veggies look too delicious! We all need to inspire each other with this healthy eating thing, I'm improving and including more fruits and veggies each day...

ReplyDeleteGood for you. It seems that we spend so much time taking care of others that it is hard to find time to take care of ourselves. So glad things are beginning to settle down. I love all the salads and fresh fruit. Perfect to help get you back into the groove. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
