Spiritual Sunday

Hello my dear friends in Christ. Today for Spiritual Sunday I ask for prayers for two of my relatives who have gastric (stomach) cancer; Connie & Belinda. Both women are kind and amazing women of faith. They were both diagnosed a couple of months ago. Gastric cancer is not very common in America, yet it devastates many lives. Please join me in prayer as they begin a journey of treatment, hope, and faith.
.

I grew up near the coast of south Texas, South Padre Island. Standing on the shore during a sunrise fills my soul with love and purpose. I am embraced by God's love and warmed by his spirit. His light shines upon me and I'm one with Him. I look at the sunrise and the beautiful water, and I feel his power. He is strength and tenderness. He is the maker of beauty and his hand touches all the corners of the world and my heart. I feel small in his presence, yet he always notices me. I place my prayers at his altar and I know he will hear me.
.
My prayers also go to the people living along the eastern coast how are facing the oil spill crisis. I hope they will not be severely affected and that help be given quickly and effectively. I sincerely pray that we can preserve our beautiful coast living. If you can, go to the coast this summer and give your support to the coastal area. They are waiting with open arms and gorgeous resort areas. Here are some relaxing and cozy beach front settings from Pottery Barn.

God Bless You!
Yoli :)

  1. Hello Yoli, I see you have a most beautiful heart. God bless you. I have prayed for your relatives, Connie and Belinda. They also need to continually use the prescription which is Gods Word.
"But He was pierced for my transgressions, He was crushed for my iniquities, the punishment that brought me peace was upon Him AND BY HIS STRIPES, I AM HEALED!" Isaiah 53:5
Jesus took all our sins and sicknesses on the cross. Speak this out for healing. There is much power in speaking out the WORD of God.
    God Bless you.

  2. Hi Yoli! You know me... my life has been touched by Cancer, too. So I will lift you and your friends up in prayer. You, because, seeing someone you love go through this is not easy! I have some prayers for cancer patients on my blog Ron's Road 2 Recovery. In my SS post this week, but also if you scroll down the page you will find some resources. Peace.

  11. To all of my wonderful sisters in Christ, I thank you for your prayers. I know that when 2 or more are gathered, so is God in our presence. He will hear us. He will have mercy and compassion on us. I accept his will.

  12. Hi Yoli, I will pray for your family members who have stomach cancer. Cancer has hit my family too. It is the saddest disease. New technology has vastly improved the treatments and more lives are saved than ever before. There is reason to hope.
