Wednesday ~ Fun Events

The day Wednesday is like the middle child. You don't really get noticed much unless you misbehave. Your achievements get overlooked because everyone is looking to see what young Friday is doing that's so cute. Monday is like the older sibling and is meant to set the tone for the week. I guess that makes Saturday the wild step-child. I give KUDOS to the ladies who celebrate Wednesdays on their blogs.

. More Sewing for me. I got home from work on Monday at 5:30pm. I went straight to the kitchen to make supper. I spent time talking with my kids while I was cooking. Supper was good, family was great, and clean-up was dreaded. After cleaning the kitchen, I started sewing. I am making Christmas aprons in the design below. I pre-cut all 8 sets, so it is just a matter of sewing them together. I have 2 made so far and they are coming out so cute. Even though it is time consuming, sewing is fun and relaxing. I get to close my mind to the world and just create away on my sewing machine, and for that I am so very grateful. For for Wednesday Gratitude, go by Heidi's place at Heart and Home.

  4. I love aprons! And that Christmas apron speaks to me. I wear aprons all the time. I guess it all started when my Grandmother died back in 1973 and I got all of those that she wore. I cherish them. It's another memory-maker for me.
I absolutely love what you do with words! Your blog is wonderful.

  6. Hi Yoli,
Oh that is so cute! I would totally be stylin' cooking in that one! If I could tear it away from my girls! Nice job, you are so clever.
Good luck on the shopping, I dread all the eye-rolling from the 14 yr. old when I point something out that I think is cute. Other than that I handle the yearly ritual pretty well! We've been collecting so much stuff for daughter #1 to move out that I'm kind of all shopped out though! Didn't think I'd ever say this about shopping, but I need a break!
Have a great rest of the week!
