Pretty in Pink

It is Pink Saturday and I'm thinking school supplies. When I was a kid I loved shopping for back to school. As a parent now, I still have fun because I try to bring the same joy to my kids. Both of my kids are in high school so I'm cherishing this time as much as possible. My son will be in 12th grade and my daughter will be in 10th grade.
.
Here is strategy: first make a list!!! Next, buy as much as possible at each store. Don't leave for tomorrow what you can get done today. I don't like driving around town to different store trying to save a dime on a pack of pens. I also buy the kids several colors of the same shirt if they like the style. I will also buy multiples of the same color if the price is low because they can always use it later. The key is to start shopping early before the back-to-school rush. Most of the time that guarantees me that we will find what we need.
.
The pink thoughts are because of my daughter "Gina". At 15 years old, she is still my little princess,. I'm hoping that we find cute school supplies for her because a girl has to have cute stuff. My son usually goes with blues and blacks, so he is any easy shopper. Well, off to shopping we go. Wish us luck.

Hope you have a great weekend!
Yoli :)

  7. I loved shopping for school supplies when I was little too! And it was always fun shopping for them with my daughter. She's 21 and in college now, so unfortunately there's no more supply shopping to do!
    Happy Pink Saturday!
