Party Dots

JOIN the party at several Blog parties and events.

.
Senorita Apron
Polka Dots remind me of confetti, so I call them Party Dots. They are always in style and make things cheerful. I remember the mod-dots from the early 1970's. I was very young then but things always seemed so funky and bold. Here is a skirt apron in bold red & black dots. It is fun, casual, and flirty!
Teen Room
I want to decorate my daughter's bedroom sometime this summer. She will be in 10th grade this fall and is outgrowing her "Princess Pink" bedroom design. I found a gorgeous comforter and shams at Potter Barn Teen that are perfect for a teenage. The jewelry storage collection is exactly what my daughter needs to organize her accessories.

Cupcakes
There is a cupcake craze going on these days. I was in San Antonio this weekend and saw several cupcake shops. They are the new designer thing to have. Making cupcakes used to be my speciality, especially when my kids would volunteer me to make some for their elementary school functions. I don't think I can compete with the designer cupcake. The Food Network has a program called the Cupcake Wars that is so fun to watch.

Fashion Design Dots
Polka dots are everywhere in fashion again. I'm amazed at the designers creativity and cleverness. I'm seeing a lot of vintage styles coming back. Polka dots dresses remind me of the I Love Lucy Show and how beautiful Lucille Ball looked.

Okay friends, too many dots. I think I'm getting a bit dizzy (LOL). I better step away from the computer. Have a wonderful day! ~ Yoli :)

  12. Yoli where did you get the fabric of those ladies? They remind me of the Mexican movies with beautiful women and old men. Your apron is just perfect and reminds me of home.
