Last Thursday of 2010

A penny earned is a penny saved.

As a single mother who works 2 job, I know what that means.  The source of my money is God but I believe He expects me to do my part.  I am greatly blessed with a good paying job and a little apron business that gives my family a bit of extra income.  There are lots of things we can do to be better stewards of our money.  That is one of my New Year's Resolutions.  What are some of your resolutions?

  1. I think that's a resolution that most (or all) of us need to share, too! I want to build on things God has shown me this past year, becoming more self-aware so that I treat people around me better. I don't quite know what resolutions that will lead to but I've found the blog The Happiness Project useful this year so I've signed up to that Challenge for 2011. One of the Challenge aims for January is to work out really constructive and realistic resolutions. I'll let you know when I have some!

  2. I don't particularly make resolutions, but I'm always trying to stretch every single cent that comes into my home. With five kids you can never stretch too far!
