Christmas Wish List

I was talking to a friend a few days ago and he asked me what I wanted for Christmas. He wasn't offering to buy me a gift, but rather he was giving me the opportunity to drop my guard as an adult in order to feel the holiday joy as a child. I thought it was strange but I gave it a try. The rule was to think as a kid, who is looking through a toy store catalogue.

I'm so excited to find Crow's Nest Trading Company online. It is the perfect store catalogue for me. I am a south Texas bluejean wearing, boot stomping, turquoise loving western diva. I was amazed at how fast I filled up my Christmas wish list.

Now it's your turn. What's on your "kid" wish list?

Ya'll be sure you dream, it's free and priceless!

  1. Well, I like your list, first! I wish, wish, wish I could do that American look, but I have to go for a more British version of the same thing - I am just more country, less western I guess!

Two years ago I just wished for Christmas that my husband would have some free time from work to spend time with me and the boys - I think we'd been having a very hard time. Since then, we've had our wish!

So, this year's wish... A Cleaning Lady, so that I could get on with crafting and being with the boys when I'm not at work! I think that's it!

I really enjoyed reading your last few posts, ezpecially the one about Hispanic Heritage month. Thanks.

  3. Hi, Yoli! i'm so glad you stopped by. I hope you will come by again. Don't know if you gathered from reading, but I am all over Christmas. I keep a countdown year round. I start to celebrate the holidays on the opening day of The Great State Fair of Texas. I opened this past Friday...so I have a 90 day celebration on my blog of Christmas quotes from my favorite Christmas movies. I love the Lord with all my heart. And am blessed by your blog. Thank you.

  6. Your aprons are so pretty. I love my apron though I don't have anything really cute. Just serviceable.

As for a wish list, I have no idea. I like dvds of old t.v. shows. Those are always fun!

  10. I cant say I want a lot of fancy stuff right now or ever but I would like a new saddle for my horse. Or rather if I could sell two I have and buy one replacement that would be my real wish. It bothers me I cant use the ones I have (dont fit the horse) and they are sitting. They should be used!!

Some nice well fitting t-shirts would be great too.
