I was talking to a friend a few days ago and he asked me what I wanted for Christmas. He wasn't offering to buy me a gift, but rather he was giving me the opportunity to drop my guard as an adult in order to feel the holiday joy as a child. I thought it was strange but I gave it a try. The rule was to think as a kid, who is looking through a toy store catalogue.
I'm so excited to find Crow's Nest Trading Company online. It is the perfect store catalogue for me. I am a south Texas bluejean wearing, boot stomping, turquoise loving western diva. I was amazed at how fast I filled up my Christmas wish list.
Now it's your turn. What's on your "kid" wish list?
Ya'll be sure you dream, it's free and priceless!

Well, I like your list, first! I wish, wish, wish I could do that American look, but I have to go for a more British version of the same thing - I am just more country, less western I guess!
ReplyDeleteTwo years ago I just wished for Christmas that my husband would have some free time from work to spend time with me and the boys - I think we'd been having a very hard time. Since then, we've had our wish!
So, this year's wish... A Cleaning Lady, so that I could get on with crafting and being with the boys when I'm not at work! I think that's it!
I really enjoyed reading your last few posts, ezpecially the one about Hispanic Heritage month. Thanks.
Hola Yoli, me cuesta un poco leerte porque tengo que usar traductor pero me ha gustado mucho tu blog, tiene cosas muy interesantes...besos!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Yoli! i'm so glad you stopped by. I hope you will come by again. Don't know if you gathered from reading, but I am all over Christmas. I keep a countdown year round. I start to celebrate the holidays on the opening day of The Great State Fair of Texas. I opened this past Friday...so I have a 90 day celebration on my blog of Christmas quotes from my favorite Christmas movies. I love the Lord with all my heart. And am blessed by your blog. Thank you.
ReplyDeletePS....you an snag my button for your sidebar if you want.
ReplyDeleteHey Yoli! Thanks for the invite to your blog. I really like it! Your aprons are adorable. Seems we like a lot of the same things. I'll be back!
ReplyDeleteYour aprons are so pretty. I love my apron though I don't have anything really cute. Just serviceable.
ReplyDeleteAs for a wish list, I have no idea. I like dvds of old t.v. shows. Those are always fun!
I am so pleased to meet you! Thank you for dropping by my little corner of the world today and for your sweet comments. May the Lord bless you!
ReplyDeleteHi there! Thank you for stopping by my blog! I love meeting new blog gals!!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I haven't even thought about what I wanted for Christmas (but now I will)!! ;)
I always wish for Peace on Earth, but I haven't gotten it yet. Hope springs eternal!
ReplyDeleteI cant say I want a lot of fancy stuff right now or ever but I would like a new saddle for my horse. Or rather if I could sell two I have and buy one replacement that would be my real wish. It bothers me I cant use the ones I have (dont fit the horse) and they are sitting. They should be used!!
ReplyDeleteSome nice well fitting t-shirts would be great too.
