Spiritual Sundays ~ Serenity Prayer

It is such a blessing to spend time with Charlotte and Ginger on Spiritual Sundays. My heart goes out in prayer for those in need. I want to thank all of you who prayed for us last week. We are still adjusting to our new life, new city. I know that God heard your prayers because my kids had a better week at school last week. We spent extra family time together last week at our kitchen table. The kids were doing homework and I was working on crafts. We were productive and happier being together. Thank you for your sweet words of encouragement and support. My posting thought for the day is the Serenity Prayer. It is a prayer we try to live by everyday.

God bless you with a wonderful week!

  9. We all get so busy that we need to just take the time to be still and enjoy our loved ones.To sit and have a meal together rather than eating in the car on the go can even be a blessing. I'm so glad you enjoyed your day.
    Blessings,
    Ginger

  10. Thanks so much for this, Yoli. I don't know if you ever met Mami, a Japanese blogger who joined a Pause in Advent from a non-Christian perspective. One week in Advent she told us about her mother's death the previous year, and how a Christian doctor in the hospital had shared the Serenity Prayer with them. I found her story very, very moving - God comforted them through these words, even though they didn't know Him, and later, Mami wanted to share them further. It's lovely to see the prayer again. Thanks.
